FK01 (坊港01, the “App”) is operated by FLYER GROUP LIMITED 飛客集團有限公司 (“we”, “us”). The App is a local neighbourhood sharing community for Hong Kong. We take the privacy of your personal data seriously and handle it in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486, the “PDPO”). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.

1. Personal data we collect

  • Identity data: name, email, phone number, avatar, third-party sign-in identifiers (Apple / Google / email).
  • Residence data: your estate / district; the address and proof of address you submit for unit-level address verification (highly sensitive; collected only with your explicit consent).
  • Verification data: identity / address verification records, one-time verification codes, sign-in sessions.
  • Social data: direct messages, follows, neighbour connections, and the posts / comments / second-hand listings / giveaways / events you publish.
  • Behavioural data: browsing / search history and interactions (used to improve recommendations; can be turned off in Settings).
  • Reputation and points: ratings, reputation history, points, membership subscriptions, redemptions, perks.
  • Preferences: privacy settings, notification preferences.

2. Purposes of use (legal basis)

  • Providing and maintaining your account, sign-in and core community features (performance of the service).
  • Estate / address trust verification (your explicit consent).
  • Content moderation and fraud prevention to keep the community safe (legitimate interests).
  • Personalised recommendations and product improvement (legitimate interests; you may opt out at any time).
  • Sending notifications you have subscribed to (you may turn them off at any time).

3. Third-party services

We use the following third parties to deliver the service. Data is passed only to the extent necessary, and we never sell your personal data:

  • Third-party sign-in: Apple, Google, email (for account sign-in).
  • Cloud storage: Cloudflare R2 / Alibaba Cloud OSS (images and files; sensitive files such as proof of address are kept in a non-public private space readable only by you or an authorised administrator).
  • Push notifications: Expo push service.
  • AI content moderation: automated review of text, image and video content for policy violations.

4. Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above. Verification codes, sign-in sessions and analytics data are purged on a rolling basis. When you delete your account we immediately cascade-delete your personal data (including address verification and direct messages).

5. Your rights (PDPO)

  • Access and correction: you can view and update your personal data in the App.
  • Portability / export: you can export your main personal data in the App (DSAR).
  • Deletion: you can delete your account at any time and we will delete your personal data immediately.
  • Opt out of personalisation: you can turn off personalised recommendations and behavioural collection in Privacy Settings.

6. Data security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords, verification codes and refresh tokens are stored as hashes, never in plain text. Sensitive files such as proof of address are kept in non-public private storage. We also keep audit logs of sensitive operations.

7. Minors

The App is intended for adult users. If you are under 18, please use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.

8. Cross-border data

Your data is stored primarily on servers in Hong Kong. Where a cross-border transfer is involved, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page. Please check back periodically.
